On display now are my Botanical Weavings that I created on the Illinois Creek Trail near the Stephen C. West Ice Arena in the Town of Breckenridge. My installation was part of Trail Mix, where musicians would play near a few select areas for the Breckenridge International Festival of Arts. This collection of media and artistry is a rare treat for any mountain town, and the team at the Breckenridge Creative Arts branch does a tremendous job of collaborating and creating synergy between town and the artists. I was honored to have been chosen to be a part of it, and I look forward to creating more floral art around Colorado and beyond! Please contact me to discuss any ideas or have any opportunities available for a creative floral installation.
Breckenridge International Festival of Arts
In addition to the core festival events , BIFA will bring back its popular Trail Mix series, which combines art, music, hiking and biking along the trails of Breckenridge through free outdoor concerts and environmental installations. This year’s series, presented on Illinois Creek, Iowa Hill and Moonstone trails, features 24 pop-up musical performances over the 10 days of BIFA with artworks by Konstantin Dimopoulos, Dina Sanchez and others. Additionally, the Breckenridge Arts District campus will be animated throughout the festival with free workshops, artist talks, participatory street performance and hands-on activities for all ages.
